The Middlesex County Historical Society is a cultural, historical 501c3 that relies on members like you and your generous donations to thrive and survive, in addition to grants. We are growing and expanding our outreach with new dynamic programs, exhibits, and educational services to try and reach a larger audience. We invite you to be a part of it! Join your like-minded neighbors who share an appreciation of Middletown’s and Middlesex County’s diverse heritage, its past, and future.

Membership benefits include reduced or free admission to Historical Society functions, a free subscription to our informative (and sometimes even fascinating) newsletter, and timely notices of upcoming events. But perhaps the most important benefit of all is your support of the activities of the Historical Society as we celebrate and preserve our past and plan for the future. 

Our annual membership year begins April 1 and runs through March 31. We kick-off our membership campaign on March 1. In the meantime, if you’d like to become a member early, email us at mchs at wesleyan.edu. You will be connected to one of our volunteers who will help you with your membership.
