250th All County Parade

Join us in downtown Middletown on July 4 as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary at the All County Parade!

The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. from the northern end of Main Street near Eli Cannon’s Tap Room and travels the full length of Main Street, ending at the South Green near Mondo. With the parade route stretching through downtown, there’s no bad spot to line up, wave your flags, and join in the celebration.

And while you’re cheering on all the incredible participants, be sure to keep an eye out for the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce team—we’ll be joining in the festivities and look forward to celebrating with you!

Instructions: if you march with us, please gather between 9 AM and 9:30 (no later than 9:30) on the corner of Spring Street and Rome Avenue. Cars are not allowed in the staging area after 9 AM, so plan to get dropped off at the corner of Spring and High Streets, then walk the block down to Rome Avenue.

The parade steps off at 10 AM, with the MCHS in Division I. We will be the first Division to reach the South Green, around 10:30. You can then watch the rest of the parade from there.

This is a historic, county-wide community event 250 years in the making! A number of Middlesex County towns are participating, the Governor’s Foot Guard will march in the parade, and the event will feature a National Guard flyover. At the close of the parade, there will be remarks on the South Green, followed by a concert at noon. Food trucks will be stationed on Old Church Street.
