In the fall of 2010, a task force consisting of Richard Adelstein, George Camp, William Ryczek, John Shaw and Patricia Tully reviewed the Society’s by-laws. The task force made recommendations to the Board, who made further changes at their December 2, 2010 meeting and approved the proposed revisions at the February 3, 2011 meeting. These revisions to the by-laws were approved by the membership at the annual meeting on April 26, 2011.
In September, 2013, the Board approved the following change to the by-laws, which was approved by the membership at the annual meeting on April 30, 2014:
Section 5.3, last sentence amended to read: “No Officer shall hold the same office for more then two successive terms, except the secretary, and, with the approval of the Board, the Treasurer.” [Addition in italics.]
